Hon. Solomon Kuyon Donates Hospital Beds, Wheelchairs, Medicines, Motorcycles and 150 School Desks to Communities in Oti Region
CHINDERI, OTI REGION — August 5, 2026: Hon. Solomon Kuyon has made a significant contribution to healthcare and education in the Chinderi area of the Oti Region through the donation of essential medical equipment, medicines, motorcycles and school furniture to several institutions.
The donation, which took place on 5th August 2026, included hospital beds, wheelchairs and medicines presented to Grubi Health Care Center, Borae No. 2 Health Care Center and Wakado Health Care Center.
The gesture is expected to support healthcare workers and improve the quality of care available to residents in the beneficiary communities, particularly by providing much-needed equipment and medical supplies to health facilities.
In addition to the healthcare support, Hon. Solomon Kuyon also donated four motorcycles to support educational activities and mobility within the area. The motorcycles are expected to assist education officials with their duties, including monitoring schools and supporting educational programmes across communities.
The education sector also received a major boost with the donation of 150 school desks to the Directorate of Education in Chinderi. The desks are expected to help address furniture shortages in schools and create a more conducive learning environment for pupils.
